great product I am a certified pistol instructor and it is great for teaching students trigger control and sight picture, long lasting as long as you remember to either take out batteries or unscrew the top on the laser, I would recommended this product.

This a great system. Fairly easy to set up. The laser is able to fit into the bores of several calipers of real handguns also. Do not lose or throw away the small Allen wrench that comes with the training kit! The expanding device on the back of the laser is very precise. You may need very small Allen wrench turns to get the correct fit for the Laserlyte pistol or your actual handgun. The Laserlyte hand gun works great!!!! Sit back in your easy chair or couch, hang the target next to or under your TV and blast away! The target hangs on one small screw or nail(like a clock would).

Laserlyte will NOT pay shipping if they send u a bad product, you have to pay for shipping and you'll get a few free batteries-pretty pathetic its $300 on their website but they make u pay shipping because they don't have quality control- Was giving this "trainer" by a good friend, and it was broken right out of the box, it never worked once, called laserlyte and they swore it was the junky plastic holder, after they sent a new one it still never worked, so they told me to pay the shipping so that they could fix it and they'd give me a few free batteries, I'm not going to bother wasting my money, the whole kit feels cheap as China could make it, your better of practicing aim with a sling shot

I love using this kit it is fun and easy to use however, after only 4 times using it the laser will not go back together must have stripped the threads. I can get it to catch one thread and it works that way but for how long who knows.it needs a switch to turn it off rather than unscrewing it every time.
would have been much better to buy the blue gun with the internal laser.
the target is real good .

The first two days the pistol was great. After that, the trigger was too slow resetting sometimes did not reset at all. Called opticsplanet, I was asked to send it to the manufacturer, I spent $11.00 at the post office for the service. Later, I found out I could have done it for free.

This trainer does not show you where you hit until you hit/shoot the display circle. Myself, I like to see every shot as I make it. The pistol has a really nice feel to it and the trigger pull is smooth. This unit is alright if you want to make one shot at a time and reset it. It only shows one hit for multiple hits in the same spot. For the amount of money this costs, I expected to see beter results.

I like the way it shows you how to correct bad habits with the trigger finger. Readily shows good and bad finger holds. can be used most anywhere. Just remember to reverse the battery cap when not using. It functions by sound and is always listening (using the batteries).
Pros: great practice, easy to use, adaptable to any handgun self improvement
Cons: none I can think of
