Most Helpful Positive Review Laserlyte Rear Sight for Glock
Item was easy to install, works great, easy to adjust, and represents good value. Indoors, and at night, it works well. During even cloudy days, however, it is not bright enough to use outdoors over 15' or so. I am glad I have it, but recognize its limitations during daylight hours. Pros: Inexpen...

Most Helpful Negative Review Worked fine for a while.
Very easy to install and sight in but after about 200 rounds the switch went bad I think from the recoil. It started acting up and then it finally shot craps. Trying to send it back for repair. Really is a good idea for self defense at night - shoot from the hip if necessary.just hope I get it repai...

After and endless search....

by DrMemory1701, from PA, United States Written on November 3, 2014
I tried everything to put a laser on my Glock 27. When I found a laser, there was no compatible holster. I found this rear sight laser by chance and I am glad I did. It was easy to install and easy to adjust. And I didn't have to go out looking for a holster. I recommend it for Older Glock pistols that do not have a
Picatinney rail. This is an excellent alternative.

The Bishop

I'm no gunsmith but with care and after carefully reading the instructions twice the installation went flawlessly. I took the pistol to the indoor range with a large target, and with some trial and error adjusted the laser red dot at point of consistent impact at about 25'. Since I wear bifocals I am now better able to put all the shots in a 1.5" circle. Paying a gunsmith to do it is another option for those who don't want to spend the effort. I would do it again. I love that all my holsters still fit the pistol with the Laserlyte attached.
Pros: ease of installation of hardware
Cons: adjustment of laser on target re: bullet impact

Was looking for a Crimson Trace sight and found this sight for only $69.95.Installed easy and was right on target with the open sight.Dialed the laser in at 30'and hitting good.Screws for laser adj seem to have no resistence and could work loose. Will work till I find a C.T.sight.
Pros: no need to replace holsters-good price
Cons: setup screws could work loose-warrenty not close to a C.T. sight

Mr. Happy

Need to Loctite all allen set screws and battery cap! The energy of the slide recoil shakes things loose and you will lose your parts and battery cap then the batteries. There set screws under the white part of the sight, don't miss the Loctite on these.
Pros: Simple, easy to use

Laserlyte Rear Sight Laser Sight

I was excited to use the Lasterlyte on my Glock. For self defense in dark conditions this is perfect. Put the bright dot on the target and pull the trigger. In daylight conditions at 21' the dot is nearly invisible. I'd give it a 5 for self defense in dark conditions, a 3 for daytime conditions.
Pros: Well made, easy to install, rugged
Cons: Difficult to see an any sunshine
