Save yourself money on ammo - LaserLyte Universal Laser Trainer Pistol

I recently took a private lesson with a well-known local firearms instructor, and he recommended this gadget as a way to practice at home. As a sort-of novice shooter, this laser device is very helpful for developing intuition about sight pictures. It also is useful for diagnosing grip issues. I set up a target or two in the bedroom and practice a couple of times a week; The laser fits both my 38 special snubbie and my 9mm 1911. The trainer pistol isn't cheap, but neither is 38 special. I think in a few weeks this device will pay for itself.
