Laserlyte universal laser trainer - LaserLyte Universal Laser Trainer Pistol

I purchased this for a .38 Special revolver, 3 inch barrel to increase my proficiency between visits to the range (assuming I can find ammo!).
It was easy to adjust the plastic width end to slide in and out of the barrel without slippage.
The enclosed allen head wrench allows for adjustments to where the laser will shine.
It is a very tiny nut to turn so do not force the turning.
This works as expected and I have no major issues.
It is easy to forget to shut the unit off after use and within one week, my batteries died.
Two sets of batteries are included so I was able to use it but now, I cycle through off then on and off again to verify its status.
My only issue is when the hammer is drawing back, the mechanical sound will cause the laser light to project on my target.
This allows me to see where I'm aiming at and allow correction before completing the trigger pull for the hammer to drop.
Unfortunately, in real life, without the LaserLyte Universal Laser Trainer, I need that first aiming to count so I do not want to depend on this "preview shot".
