Unreliable with quiet triger and eats batteries - LaserLyte Universal Laser Trainer Pistol

I generally dry weapon practice 15 min. at a time. In IWI Masada device did not fire about 40% of time. Likely quiet triger. Made sure device was off after each practice. Finally went to removing batteries after each session. Fifteen bucks in batteries last less than two hours.
