LaserLyte Rear Sight Laser for 1911 Novak
Love this LaserLyte Sight! It's a tad more bulky than the Novak, you'll lose the no snag feature, and it may not fit a full holster the same. The LaserLyte is easy to adjust and operate. It's quality and well made, though I haven't actually shot with these sights, I'm assuming they'll hold-up to recoil shock. You can keep those special after market grips, and there's nothing hanging off the end of your trigger guard. I put mine on a 1911 3 inch /wo a rail for which there is no recoil spring plug laser available. For all this, I thought $117 & free shipping a pretty good deal, though I would have preferred to pay even less.
Pros: Excellent alternative to grips or trig-guard clamp-on lasers. Quality well made; you get to keep your fancy grips. Sight itself (laser off) is great.
Cons: Not as holster friendly as laser grips.
