Lasermax sight for ruger lcr - Lasermax Frame Mounted Centerfire Red Laser Sight

This item was packaged securely and arrived without damage. I was surprised when I discovered it had the Ruger trademark embossed on the side of the unit. The sight fit securely in place and was an exact fit using the included replacement cylinder pivot screw, mounting screws, and hex wrench tools. The sight was easily adjusted using the included tool. I have another LCR pistol that came with Laser sight and it had a manual switch that was ambidextrous for left right operation with a center off position. This sight had a push-push operation, also ambidextrous, that must have included extra circuitry in the controller to accomplish the on-off function. I don't know which switch is more reliable but it appears the manual switch is less likely to be accidentally activated when placing or removing the weapon from concealment. If the laser was left on while concealed it could negatively impact the battery life.
