LaserMax is very difficult to mount. It requires you replace the crane hinge pin with one provided with an extension. I tried for 45 minutes to get the pin to the correct length that the left and right sides of the laser housing would match up. But I could not. I also purchased an AIMSHOT laser for the Ruger LCR. That mounted easily in under 5 minutes. I returned the LaserMax and will buy a second AIMSHOT. I'm sure its a great laser but the mount is more difficult than competition.
