I decided to get this laser instead of tritium sights and i'm glad i did. It was easy to install and fits good on the trigger guard. At the range it was sighted in perfectly.Got it on sale with fast shipping from OP.

Let's face it, the little Ruger LC9 is not an easy pistol to shoot accurately because of short barrel, insufficient grip, small sights front and back and recoil anticipation from the new shooter. My wife falls in the new shooter category. At 15' she was "on the paper" but, you'd be hard pressed to identify a "grouping". I installed the Lasermax red dot on the LC9 and all of a sudden she had 4" groups at the same distance. The LC9, along with the Lasermax, is now a pretty accurate deadly weapon at a reasonable distance.

Just got this. Mounted perfectly, clean fit, didn't even need to read the simple instructions. Windage and elevation adjustment appear to be excellent in that each small adjustment "clicks" which seems like it will hold zero much better. On/off switch left and right, easy reach.

I've never owned a laser sight but when I purchased my new Ruger LC9 Pro and began to use it, I noticed that with "old eyes" at 67 YOA I was not getting on target as quick nor was I as accurate as I once was since I need reading glasses but my distance vision is as good as ever. After installing the green LaserMax laser sight on my LC9, which took only a couple of minutes and was easy to complete, I went to the range. It took a few rounds to get my group on center of target at 30 feet but adjustment was easy if you make adjustment in very small increments. With the green LaserMax I was able to acquire my target very quickly and put the round exactly where I wanted. Before I went to the range, I took the empty LC9 out in bright sunlight and aimed the weapon at several trees in my yard. Even in the bright sunlight, it was easy to see the green laser on the rough bark of the cottonwood trees. At the range the green laser stood out like a beacon. Other people at the range noticed the new sight and commented how it looked like it was manufactured as part of the LC9. My experience with this green LaserMax laser sight convinced me to consider buying a green laser site for my Glock 19.
Pros:
- Easy to install
- Can be installed quickly with small screwdriver
- Easy to operate and zero
- Looks like it was manufactured as part of the weapon
- Lightweight and does not seem to affect the balance
- Makes acquiring target easier
Best Used for:
- Excellent for shooters who wear reading glasses
- Excellent for use in target or self defense shooting

Bought the LaserMax for my Ruger LC9s. Works great. Received as scheduled. Have yet to receive the $30 rebate from the promotion offered by Optics Planet. This is the second Red LaserMax laser I have purchased, Ruger LC9s Pro, from Optics Planet. I recommend Optic Planet products to my friends.
Pros:
- maintains zero
- Easy to install, adjust beam and maintains zero
Best Used for:
- self defense, target shooting

This LaserMax Laser Sight for my Ruger LC9 was a great addtion to my personal carry gun. It was very easy to install, just snap together and tighen two screws. I was able to zero it in with ease and was shootin' the center out at 25 yards. For the money you can not beat this sight!

Purchased unit for my pistol it was an easy installation. Bore sighted it in and took it shooting. After several hundred rounds, rechecked the sighting. A little off, so I readjusted and tried again. Again readjusted and same problem. Contacted customer service. Two days later, new unit with return lable arrived at my door. No problem. Lasermax's customer service is outsanding. Mounted new unit and I'm off and running. No problems. The prices for this unit from Planet Optics is the best and I have made them my goto store for pistol products and accessories.
Pros:
- GREAT PRICE
- Great product, does what its intended to do.
