LaserMax for Glock 27
I bought this not knowing anybody that used one. I tried a friend's G27 with crimson trace and the grip was too fat. The LaserMax came with easy step-by-step instructions and I had it installed in about 20 minutes. Make sure you use the straw they give you and read all the directions first. I am v...

Keeps Turning On
I really liked the idea of this lazer sight, expecially since the Glock 26 does not have rails to attach an external lazer sight, and it is very easy to install and use. The only problem I am having is the lazer keeps turning on without my knowledge while holstered and killing the battery. The end...

Easy installation
Received the red dot, easy to install. Check the dot to make sure it works, compared it to my cold sights and it looks close. I have not had a chance to check it out on the range.
Pros:
- easy installation
Cons:
- None

expensive but it's grown on me
Wanted one of these ever since hearing about them, what i did not realize is that the light blinks? At first i thought it was lame until i looked through my (red dot) optic, and immediately realized why the protected laser blinks, if like in my case you have a red dot, if it didn't blink, when you looked through your optic you would see two red dots and not know which one is which, so the blinking instantly turned from odd to neccesary. Very well designed just make sure that when you seat the recoil spring that three center positive node detent peice is not touching any other metal part in the slide or else it will trigger on its own without your will or knowledge. Otherwise very easy to install and integrates so well your the only one who will know it's there.

Dead on arrival
I bought this laser as a gift and it arrived dead on arrival. It appeared to be missing a small internal piece. My dad (the recipient of the gifted lasermax laser) contacted lasermax for a replacement piece. He eventually got it in the mail. When he put the piece in, it still didn't work. When I messaged opticsplanet for a replacement, I never got a message back.

Glock 27 Install
Very please with the Lasermax Guide Rod Laser Sight. Easy to install and very functional. Only concern is there is a substantial difference in the resistance of the spring compared to original Glock spring. The Glock spring is much more tighter and requires much more force to compress into place.

It's easy just try it
This guide rod laser is about as easy to install as it gets. Very reliable ( my 3rd for Glock) simple battery change and pre-sighted so you can't mess up adjustment.
Pros:
- Reliable, easy install
Cons:
- Maybe cost, but you get what you pay for.

Not zeroed in and nothing you can do about it.
I ordered the Laser Rod for my Glock 26. Got it within a week! Installation is very easy but once installed, I aligned it with my iron sights and it was beaming to the upper left of my iron sights. It was off centered and not much I can do about it. Since I don't want a inaccurate laser pointer (not to mention fragile, faint blinking light and not much battery life), I returned it. I settled for a TR6, at least it is brighter and my choice of the color green and steady light instead of blinking.
Pros:
- Easy to install
- Hidden inside the firearm
Cons:
- Only one mode and color: Blinking red
- expensive, 1 hour long batteries ($22)
- Once installed, light beam was off center and no way to zero in.

Holster Glock 43
I can’t find a holster for this guide rod laser. I have to keep batteries in the wrong way, which defeats the purpose. It keeps turning on in holster. If anyone know of a holster for Glock 43 for guide rod laser, I’m all ears!
