Unbelievable, I think that says it all. I've only had it for a couple of weeks. No problems, it was harder to get it out of the shipping box than it was to put it in the my Sig P226. The round goes exactly to the laser marker, maybe a quarter of an inch high at 30 ft. After 100 rounds it was still the same. Batteries seem to be working fine. I'm not how much longer the will last, but mainly because of testing and showing off the system.
