My first green laser - LaserMax Spartan Adjustable Rail Mounted 5mW Red Laser Sight

I was excited to see this product come out. Finally, a green laser from LaserMax that doesn't cost an arm & a leg! I am very impressed with the small size and brightness of the green laser. Fits my pistol rails nicely. The only thing I don't like is it is that it is not a quick disconnect type laser. Once you put it on, it stays on. You have to use an Allen wrench to mount and dismount it. It probably stated this in the literature somewhere but I missed that. You can't put this on one pistol and then "pop" it off and put it on another. Not like my Insight MX2 that has a button that allows a quick "on and off". This is why I only gave it a four star. Other than that, the quality is excellent as usual from LaserMax. I'm not sure I would have bought it though had I known it was not a quick install /uninstall. None of my holsters will work with a laser installed so it's nice to have a laser that installs quickly in case you want to mount it on different weapons.
