Most Helpful Positive Review Very Small!
I ordered this item last week and I just heard the knock on the door from the UPS man and there it was! I opened it it up and cleaned it (not that it was dirty, but I have OCD...so it makes me feel better to clean EVERYTHING that goes on my firearms) right away and mounted it on my new Smith and Wes...

Most Helpful Negative Review Unit died after three months
Unit just quit after three months. Returned to factory. After 4 weeks still no replacement. Calls are answered and quote "it will be sent out today no later than tomorrow". This has gone on now for three weeks. Latest is it will be sent out today by UPS express what ever that means.

Lasermax mounted on AR

by TinkerT, Verified Owner from IN, United States Written on April 29, 2016
I purchased two of these units and have them mounted on my AR. One is .223 and one on 300 blackout barrel and sighted in at 100 yrds each. Work great and have had no problems. Have stayed on target and work from 0 to 100 yards.

Laser max

by Legacy Reviewer, from CA, United States Written on February 17, 2013
The laser is easy to mount. One side has a single screw. The opposite side is spring loaded. Loosen the screw. Angle the laser from the screw side on the mounting rail. Then press on the screw to open the mount and install on the pistol. Tighten the screw.
Pros: Bright, narrow beam. Easy to mount.
Cons: none

Dead on site

by Legacy Reviewer, from NY, United States Written on August 20, 2012
Really wanted the green laser version but it was to much money. The one advantage the red has over the green is that you do not give your position away as you would with the green laser. No negatives that I have seen so far.
Pros: light weight, easy to use and install
Cons: Wish the green laser version was not so expensive

Because the sight is located below the fixed sights, the zero moves slightly when shooting at changing distances.
Pros: Easy to set up and use
Cons: Zero changes slightly when shooting at various distances

Nice sight...laser could be brighter.....

by Legacy Reviewer, from PA, United States Written on August 25, 2011
I mounted this sight on a 357 R8 Smith revolver. The sight is nice and compact..just what I wanted. The unit holds zero pretty well after multiple shots...The on off switch is kinda awkward and can be turned on by laying the weapon on its side. I have a Crimson Trace red laser grips on my small Tarus revolver and it seems a bit brighter in day light comditions than this one. Overall....not a bad sight for the money
Pros: small and light
Cons: on-off kind of awkward
