The Uni-Max is easy to setup and use. Once on the rrail, a simple adjustment will line the green dot up. The only problem is the changing of flashing to steady light. It starts at flashing and while the directions are clear, the changing to steady is not. Takes a few tries.

I have this unit and mine doesn't pulsate as noted in the description. Mine only stays constant on which I prefer but would like the unit to have a monetary on off switch. I have replaced the batteries several times and the batteries I believe loose the brightness of the laser beam even though the unit is shut off. With fresh batteries the green laser beam is only bright for about three minutes if left on. It could be that the batteries would last longer if they were removed from the unit but that would be ridiculous. I for one also have the Veridian Green Laser Rail unit and it is much brighter and the C123 Batteries are much more powerful and for sure last much longer.

The Lasermax Uni-Max Green laser is an excellent quality product as is all of there products I have used in the past. The laser is easy to attach to almost any pistol. It is easy to sight in and maintains its zero when removed and installed. I would highly recommend this product. It is presently installed on a Beretta 92A1 Compact and fits beautifully.

I am tired of LaserMax deciding to only make a pulse laser. I don't care what their research says, I want a laser that is constant on. Make a user selectable option so they can decide when they install it. Until then I will keep paying Viridian or Crimson trace for their products.

I know they market green lasers as being intrinsically more complex and therefor, expensive. But when Frys sells green laser pointers for less than 10 bucks, it begs the question... why does is cost nearly $300 for the weaponized version? the red laser one is a third the cost... I guess I'm the sucker for buying it, but it doesn't make me that happy about it.
Pros: its green, its small, its light, and it functions as designed
Cons: not great when cold, which I could switch from pulse to steady, too expensive

Overall great product for price, compact and fits easily on XDs; activation switch is sensitive and has a tendency to turn-on after a few rounds (quick field fix with thin strip of rolled up duck tape).
Pros: Price, Size
Cons: Activation switch is sensitive

Went with the green laser for it's improved range. Rebate helped offset the higher price. Happy with the purchase.
The first unit I recieved didn't work which seemed to be due to bad batteries (low volatage measurment). I returned to OpticsPlanet and they sent me a new one. They paid shipping both ways.
Pros: Simple to set up and use
Cons: None

I shoot out side so I wanted a green laser to use on my fn 5-7 on bright days. I'm very pleased over all. the green laser is bright and visible all the way down range. The only problem with the green laser is , if left in cold for to long it shuts off (below 35 degrees after about ten minuts). other wise this little things great!
Pros: Light weight, sleek, visibility, works well in day light, turns off automatically if left on, bottom rail
Cons: short battery life, dose not funtion in cold temp
