I put this on my Saiga .308. Fits perfectly and locks up tight. Over 200 rounds and still solid with no loss of zero. Great mount for the money. Pros: Easy to install, sturdy, holds zero Cons: Iron sights not useable

Most Helpful Negative Review will not fit Century Arms AK side rail

will not fit Century Arms side rail....too narrow and no way to expand the opening. The other Version of UTG's mount also will not fit....too narrow as well. Had to go to a much more expensive mount to get a proper fit. Would likely be fine if it fit.

Strong and heavy

Strong but bit heavy mount. May not fit perfectly all side rails as bolt placement is not ideal for some rails that have undercut for certain QD side mounts.

I have not yet found any use for the side picatinny and would like to see this mount without one.

Good Price But...

The only thing is good is the price is right! But the only thing i don't like about it, it's kinda tall. I got it so i can put a scope on it and when i did the scope was really high up! It made the gun look funny looking and the buttstock was now leaning to my chin instead of my cheek! So it kinda made me have to raise my head up a little bit. To me I don't like it but some people it might not be that bad? Also the side rail is another thing i don't like is because if you mount a flash light or a laser red dot it will be in front of your face and kinda takes away of your view, not to bad but a little bit. I would save your money and spend a little more and get something better!

Solid and affordable

Fits perfectly. No trouble maintaining zero on either red dot or traditional scope. Side rail is great to mount a light. Well made, quality product. A bargain for the price. Equal to or better than some the more pricey rails for an AK.

Leapers 3rd Gen AK Side Mount Review

Rail mounts as secure as any rail possibly could. Holds zero with a red dot affixed. Sustained heavy 7.62x39 firing including some bump firing did not make the mount or anything come loose. Also still held zero. I dont know what would happen with dropping and beating the rail on the ground but it works well for my purpose.

It sits a little high but....

...hey guess what.. This works great on PSL's / FPK's etc.. Cheek weld actually works out just right w/ a stock PSL butt stock. Saves a ton of money over the $200+ alternatives out there.. If it was height adjustable for a little more money, that would be awesome. Didn't really need the side rail but since the space was there I guess use it for something. :) Solidly built.

Exceptional value

I was shooting 3"- 4" groups at 100 yards with a leapers bug buster
scope 3 x9 power and this bracket . I used wolf ammo. This bracket is solid and does not move.
with better ammo you should get smaller groups.

Extremely sturdy optics mount for those who don't need Quick Release

Good and sturdy optics mount with three screw tightened tension lock. Made from aluminium and anodized? black. I have not tested but I have a feeling that this mount might hold zero quite ok even though it is not quick release. As the mount is tightened level with the top of the side rail so there should not be big differences.

Leapers AK-47 Side Mount Scope

Very well made product..The mount was simple to install on the gun..Looked good, was very sturdy, and once the scope that I put on it was sighted in, it has remained on target after many shots..I would recommend this scope mount to anyone that has a AK-47, and is wanting to put a scope on the gun..
