This is an excellent mount for mini 1" scopes...it also works great with the 641 picatinny rail mount to install any other scopes.

Unbelievably easy to set up. No filing required for it to fit on my Yugo SKS. Perfect fit.

needs internal work

Bolt carrier does not travel back freely, causing failure to eject. did not feel qualified to machine out inside of cover to achieve clearance. Also when pulling back bolt to clear FTE, set screw/lock nut scrapes hand, ouch!
Pros: fits tight, sighted in easy
Cons: improper fit, restricts bolt travel

I read a lot of reviews stating there was a lot of filing required to get this to fit but mine went in without a hitch. Very pleased!

Great for the price. Rock solid. I recommend using lock tite on screws holding mount to cover though.
