Bought this item to mount a scout scope on my Mosin M91/30. Removed the rear sight base and this fits perfectly on the 3/8" dovetail underneath. Holds up to the stout Mosin Nagant recoil without budging.
Pros: Inexpensive, stays pus, holds zero
Cons: none
