Does what it's designed to do
The wedge does the job. The upper and lower are much tighter now. They're basically the exact same thing as the more expensive brand, so save some money and pick these up. Just be sure to shave it down to size.

Useless. Chinese
This item was not as described and when I figured out where it goes, it did not take the tiny bit of wobble out of the fit between upper and lower. Brownells has the directions and theirs is more, but made in the USA.
Nice and snug
If you have a lot of wiggle between your upper and lower this will fix the problem. For sure. I added several to a recent order cause they're not expensive and having a few laying around is a good thing.

Perform as expected
If you AR has an upper and lower receiver wobble, this rubber wedge will eliminate the wobble. Good quality receiver sets and high quality AR's do not have wobbe.

DEPENDS on the AR make.
This will not work in every AR made. I put the receiver wedge in 3 different AR's and had 3 different results with the upper having a snugger or looser fit. It's inexpensive so take a chance.

UTG receiver wedge
Get it!! Get several!! Makes a huge difference with maintaining stability between upper receiver and lower receiver by deleting wobble. Improves maintaining stability which corresponds with accuracy.

Creates no-rattle joint between ar-15 upper and lower
Similar in principle to an Aero Precision lower with the no-rattle adjustment bolt in the grip compartment.
Both the Aero lower and this wedge presses plastic into the underside of the rear take-down mount, thus creating a tight fit between upper and lower, which eliminates rattle after adjustment.
Works as expected, but may require some trimming of this plastic spacer, while the Aero lower has an adjustable bolt with a plastic tip so no trimming required on that, but same result.
