Robert Robinson's Review of Leapers DC Series 38x12in Tactical Water-Resistant Gun Case

I was just looking for something I could securely transport my rifles when I came across this case. UTG again filled the bill without a heavy toll on my wallet. After all, shouldn't our money be spent on our rifle and optics without dolling out a fortune fore a soft case?

Clearly the folks at UTG understand the dilemma most of face when it comes to our wallets. In this case, the Leapers DC Series 38x12 Tactical Case is exactly what the doctor ordered. First, it's water resistant. That doesn't mean to go swimming with it (unless your a teams guy or gal). But it does a great job of keeping your hardware dry in case of a small down pour.

Next, it has 5 mag pockets which are great for magazines up to 60 rounds. I tried, but no pics to show (sorry). At best though, you can carry a lot of ammo (if you're strong enough to lift it). Approximately 360 rounds (est). That's 5-60 round mags in the mag pockets and one 60 round mag in your AR. Possibly more if your primary mag is a 100 round drum!

Lastly, this case should last you for decades. It's really that tough. Plus, the folks at Optics Planet don't fold it in half when shipping like some companies might. If you're on a budget after dumping your life savings into your rifle and optic, then this is the case for you.

Plus it fits 18 inch AR's with collapsible stocks with room to spare.
Pros:
  • Durable Nylon
  • Digital Camo is Spot-On
  • Durable Carrying Handle & Strap
  • Mag Pockets fit any 30-60 round mag
  • Soft Interior wont scratch delicate surfaces
  • Price, Price, Price
Cons:
  • No Pistol Pouches
Best Used for:
  • Rifle Transportation
  • Ammo Mag Transportation
