Claw Mount
This is a great little mount. Every bit as good a mount as my original HK mount just less money. The description should say that it comes with the Picatiny adapter rail, I almost bought one to go with my mount.
Pros: steel construction, no movement
Cons: Heavy, sharp edges

Chinese copy
First of all, this is not a reflection on Optics Planet; they sell tons of products and are not responsible for the manufacture of this mount.
Having said that, I cannot recommend this product. It is a cheap cast metal Chinese copy of a spec HK claw mount. It's marked "UTG." There is a solid metal ...

Solid Mount,as good as the original
No need to get the German one, this is as good as the original at more than half the price, in some instances even more than that, good quality and very solid, no wobble of any kind, clamps firmly, it came with a picatinny already attached with two screws, the file photo doesn't show it, but it does, so you can mount any kind of modern scope.
Pros:
- Price and fitment
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- HK 91

Solid Steel Claw Mount
Just received this claw mount. It is solid and appears to be very well made. Yes, it comes with a pic rail already installed so it’s good to go right out of the box. This is my first purchase from Optics Planet, and I will certainly be a repeat customer. I highly recommend this product.
Pros:
- Pic rail included
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- HK G3, HK 91 and clones but will not work on CETME builds.

Great quality but..
If you have your mind set on a claw mount this is a really quality design and works great and mounted perfect on my ptr91. However, the optic sits really high even with low mounts. Unless you are using a scope with stanag rings or an actual hk scope I'd recommend going with one of the low mounts. They say you can use the iron sights looking through the mount but its not as easy as I thought. Optic sits to high and far back to comfortably use the sights.
Pros:
- Quality
- Quick Detach
- Tight
Cons:
- Optic sits way to high
- Hard to use iron sights
Would recommend: No
Might need some adjustment
I have a CETME without the recoil stop block for the scope mount. If you have a rifle with a regular steel receiver it is possible to weld a stop block in place to keep the mount from shifting due to recoil. If you can't weld and you have a rifle without a stop block, buy the mount that wraps around the rear sight, otherwise it's a great quality product.

It Works as it should..
Arrived fast as always from OP.
Worked as expected but no,way as good as the real HK claw mount.
It sat alittle cracked on the top of my HK93 but after a few adjustments to the locking mechanism I had it sitting straight.(had to shim the locking lug to get it to lock up tighter).
Overall it's good for what it's intended for.

Claw mount works
This mounted to my PTR91 with no trouble. No need to tweak anything. The description should also say it comes with a length of Picitanny rail. I was very satisfied with how firmly it locked up, and the scope I mounted kept the same zero after I took it off and put it back on.

Tricky Fit
I just received My UTG #HK02 Claw Mount for my 1971 or about, HK91. It took a few Minutes to figure It out. It didn't fit at first. When I realized that the Claw Mount has what I would call a two stage relies. First stage (on fit). Press it all the way down and the Lugs will fall out of the way than press the locking lever Intel it CLICKS into place. It fits like a charm.

Claw Mount for H&K
I've been looking for a mount to fit my rifle and this one fit just fine and is tight. It's height allows for the use of the peep sight which is a plus.
It also came with a Picatinny rail for items requiring this type of mount.

A greatly improved product
I bought one of these 10 years ago when Tapco was distributing them. On the receivers it did fit, it was terribly canted. On other receivers, it wouldn't lock at all. This incarnation of the HK mount is much improved. It locks onto a factory HK receiver, but since I bought it specifically for a Vector 93 clone, I had to file the feet just a little(5 minutes worth). This mount should come with instructions, since mounting it backwards can damage the receiver. With an original HK rifle, the cam lever on the mount should be on the left side of the receiver as you are shouldering the rifle; however, be forewarned that there are HK93 clones out there that have the locking tabs pressed in into the receiver backwards(believe me, I own one). Check your receiver and make sure that the 90 degree feet on the mount match up with the 90 degree locking tabs. The tabs on the opposite side should be about 45 degrees. If you have one of these rifles, it is okay to have a mount that is backwards--it would just look strange to an HK purist.
Pros: Works as advertised
Cons: No instructions/made in China

Frank
I bought this for my original HK 91. It did not fit at all. I did read once that they had to be smithed to each rifle, so i took it to the local gun smith and it wasn't able to be milled to fit at all. would of had to take off so much material that it would of been useless. I dunno if it was just mine or what but it seems UTG stuff sucks and is ment for airsoft not the real thing will be returned.
Pros: seemed well made
Cons: would not work
