Utg h&k claw mount clone - UTG MP5 Steel Claw Mount w/ STANAG to Picatinny Adaptor

put this on my century cetme. solid steel. see-through peep works well with all four flip sight apertures (100-400 yd). this mount did not fit on my receiver out of the box. tried filing down the claw edges myself. after filing through several south park episodes with no improvement to fitting prospects, i gave up. took it to my local gunsmith for some pro treatment. smith filed it down, got it to fit and lock down. the quick-detach feature worked quite well. put a weaver classic k-series 4x38 scope with weaver tactical rings on it and headed to the range. 308 recoil caused the mount to slide forward to the rear of the ejection port. could have been my smith filed too much. if the original design weren't quick detach and more permanently affixed to rifle, might not have this problem. sacrificed q-d feature for immobility: put loctite on claw edges where they meet receiver. went to range again, no movement, held zero! loss of q-d is negligible, due to usability of see-through feature.
