UTG Rail covers
Snug fitting rail covers from UTG. Over the last few months I became a huge fan of Leapers products. I started by trying their super slim handguard which I picked up on promotional sale. Since then I spent over $600 with Leapers and their UTG line.

Nice product.
The rubber feels like it iis of good quality and the fit is snug. I would have gave it five stars; however, the flat dark earth color was off just a little bit from all my other items of the same color Optics planet is a great store. Their prices are always competive if not better than others and the shipping was free.

Keeping your hands nice and safe.
I bought the utg rubber pieces to protect my hand from my railing. I like that they are small so that I can put them around my other parts like a puzzle. I wish they were a little softer on the top side. It would make my hands stick to it better and my hand would feel better as well.

Great rail covers!
Fit tight and stay in place. Won't slide up & down your rail like other rubber rail covers. These are much better than other rail covers like the U.S. Govt issued rail covers IMO. Provides great grip on your weapon and looks good.

New Gen UTG Premium Rubber Rail Guard Product Review
This review is for the field drab colored rail guards not the OD green or black units. They had a slightly different geometry then the green or black units but appear to be the made of the same polymer. These units have a rib inside the rail relief which keeps them from sliding back and forth on the rail, a quality lacking on the green and black units. All guards appeared to be uniform in size, color and texture and went on to the rails perfectly and stayed in place like they were designed. They looked good too just like the green or black units. I have yet to give the AR I've put them on a real good test fire like a 200 or 300 rd. string of fire. But I have no doubt they will probably do fine. I would recommend this product to friends and will buy more if I build any more AR Frankenstein rifles.

Pictanny Rail Covers
These rail covers prevent your gear and vegetation from catching on the rails. They do add some weight though.
UTG is becoming a player in the tactical field.

Pros: Easy to slide on my rails and they stay exactly where I place them. Cold weather doesn't affect them. I'm talking -15F, affordable, 2 colors, and have a rounded end.
Cons: When stacking them on my rail the rounded ends needed to be trimmed square otherwise there appeared to be a gap between them.
