Impressive for the money so far replaced a 2x leupold on my Ruger super red hawk 44magnum i just needed more power this scope has more than I needed held up great to 150 rounds of magtech 240gr ammo honestly never shot tighter groups with any other scoped handgun than this inexpensive utg 2x7 handgun scope was going to get another leupold variable but looks like they are not making them right now 2-15-25 so gave this scope a try and like I said impressed

I had to send this scope back as it wouldn’t focus and just wasn’t right. I did ask for a replacement of the same brand

I put this scope on a Taurus Raging Hunter 460 Mag with an 8 3/8 Inch barrel. I only fired 6 rounds till now with the scope on but so far so good. I'm using factory ammo and ammo I reload myself with 200 Grain to 250 Grain Bullets. Nothing heavier. It keeps the recoil manageable and I use shooting sticks to steady my shots. As time goes on I'll see how the scope holds up.

I have been using this for about a year on a nitro-piston airgun. It has held up perfectly for several thousand shots so far. Parallax is pronounced if one is not entirely in line. Did well on a .357 to ~125yd
Pros:
- Drop reticle references well for airgun and rimfire
Cons:
- Illumination washes out lowlight targets

Have only had a short time and only shot 12or so rounds to dial in but the eye relief is great for pistol. Love that it came with flip up lens protection. Cant wait till gun season opens to take it to the woods
Pros:
- good quality
- Lens protection
- large eye relief

This is my first handgun scope.
Quality seems excellent.
I mounted it on a Cricket Bolt action Single shot .22 with 10.5" barrel
Excellent groups sighted in for 75 yds. The PDC reticle works well. The first hashmark hits right on at 100yds. with the scope zeroed for 75 yds.
Haven't used the red/green reticle but they work fine.
Above 5x the sight picture becomes tunneled and sometimes hard to find the target but I believe this is a problem with most long eye relief scopes when you crank the power up.
Completely satisfied with my first handgun scope.

Nice that it comes with rings, those things can add up. Decent scope for the money, remember why you didn't want to spend tons of money on a hand gun scope. not hard to tune in. The cross hairs get a little blurry the more energy you use, but decent.

would have been a good scope if it could handle the recoil. Thought I was upgrading from the Simons that was on the TC Contender 375Win. After 20 rds the power adjustment no longer worked, stuck on 5. Sent it back, reinstalling the Simons for now.

Frankly I didn't expect a lot from this scope for the price. I was wrong, the quality of this Leapers optic was amazing. Mounted it on a S&W SS 357 mag, came with UTG rings and battery. Illumination, green & red, clear and bright, lens are much better then one would expect in this price range.

This scope doesn't disappoint, i have purchased 3 over time from opticsplanet. They hold up well. They also handle heavy recoiling rifles well.I have these on 2 ar pistols and an ar rifle.Very clear optics and i really love the illuminated reticle.
