Reasonable product for low price point - UTG Pro 3X Magnifier w/ Flip-to-side QD Mount

This 3x magnifier has worked very well for me. I have several of them, and have painted some, with successful results. The alignment is easy and holds steady after centering around your optic. I prefer to use them with a 1/3 co-witness small red dot sight. The quick release is very useful. It may bump into some rear sights of larger dimensions, and need removing with back up iron sight use. The unit is hard to pull back and flip for some users. It also has very short eye relief, so sitting and shooting may be a problem. Standing, with your head tilted forward, is less of a problem. I have a big head, and almost bump my teeth into the back of my AR when sitting and shooting at the range. I just know the limitations, and compromise for the price. If longer eye relief was present, I would pay about $20 more happily. Very clear image, and tough. A bit heavy. One of the best inexpensive magnifiers available, especially if you outfit several AR's all the same. I would recommend to a friend, but tell them of the hard pull and flip, and short eye relief.
