I have one of these on my Springfield Socom 16 M1A (7.62x51, .308) and it holds zero fine. It had set screws to lock the turrets once it's zeroed. I have it mounted forward on the front rail and the dot is bright and clear there. I have just ordered another for an AR15 build I'm doing. It's a great sight for the price.
