They work for back up sights. Rock solid don't move once deployed, good build quality. Would recommend if you need backup sights. I know in the past they got a bad rap but have come a long way since then.

For what you would pay for a plastic, flip up sight you can buy this one and have a precise, well machined and finished one
made out of aluminum. Fits a standard 1913 rail and bolts up solid with NO play whatsoever.

I have plenty of magpul flip up and love them. However i was looking for something different and something that was metal instead of plastic. These work really and I have no issues using them time and time again.

The set I received was off in some way i didn’t notice until i took them out to zero i hadn’t used them since there just backups to my 1x micro prism but when i attempt to co witness with my reticle you have to dial the rear windage to the left most position maxed out to line up with the optic not sure what the issue is

These iron sights are great and I highly recommend them. I plan on buying more for future guns. Easy to install and I like the button flip-up design. Yeah red dots are good and easy but it’s best to practice with iron sights and get better with them first. Manual is always the way to go!
Pros:
- Easy to install
- Affordable

If you want a good enough quality sight that's not too expensive this is a great option. The first couple of times popping it up there was a little roughness but that disappeared after working it a few times.

I’ve purchased several sets of these flip-up sights. Compared to other brands these sights work very well and they are very affordable. They’re made out of aluminum. Some other UTG flip-up sights are marked “made in U.S.A. but these are not. There’s other ones that are made here. I don’t see any difference in quality. The sight is click adjustable and has a small and large apertures for short or long distance shooting. Since these are just “back-up” sights they won’t be used often. I do prefer aluminum flip-up sights compared to polymer sights.
Pros:
- Afffordable
- Well constructed
- Works very well. Solid build

Very solid mount using two slots on the rail. Lube and deploy several times to break in. Mine was a tad stiff at first. Looks nicer than fantastic plastic. Great sight picture for me.

Seems heavy duty yet has a small profile. I like these much better than anything else of equivalent price. I love the push button for rapid deployment. I love that they lock in the open position so when manipulating around cover they are not inadvertently pushed down. Windage and elevation adjustments are solid and tactile. No side-to-side wobble when open. Lays pretty close to flat when in the closed position. Has 2 recoil lugs, takes up 2 picatinny slots.
