They fit my hand so well compared to all the others I have tried,Larue,Ergo grip etc. The first thing my shooting buddies say is, man, I really like the grip you got on there when I hand them my AR15. Most Helpful Negative Review Kinda disappointed...
Hole is too deep for the spring for the safety detent. Spring sticks up .125" on OEM grip; sticks up only .060" on UTG grip. Safety does not work; rotates in the receiver. What to do? Are there longer springs? Not happy with this product... Pros: feels great in the hand Cons: hole too deep for safet...

Not ambidextrous or comparible with milspec

by Mark, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on June 17, 2026
if you’re going to try to use this on a lower with ambidextrous controls or anything regular milspec be prepared to use your die grinder. There’s a small ridge of plastic right at the trigger guard that keeps it from seating all the way and the grip is set up for a right hand shooter only.
You can’t hold this with the left hand and have it feel normal.
The ambidextrous title is incorrect.

The grip itself feels excellent if you can install it on something
Pros:
  • ergonomic
Cons:
  • Not ambidextrous

Not as comfortable as I thought it would be.

by Erik, Verified Owner from RI, United States Written on June 1, 2026
I have large hands. Not medium, not XL. The pinky placement squish against my ring finger in a uncomfortable postion. Also the palm swell gave me pain in my palm just after 5 minutes of holding. Online the grip looked like it might have had some soft rubber to it but it does not. It's a hard grip and a little heavy. This grip may work for some people but for me it's not going to work. I would give 2 stars but it is inexpensive so I'll give 3.

pistol grip

by Moose, from SD, United States Written on February 22, 2026
It’s a great product. It’s a great product but it sad leapers is to cheap to include a bolt to mount the product. Not all people are just replacing an old grip, some are building a new unit. It’s not that I have to buy the bolt separately, but it’s the inconvenience of having to order the bolt or track one down.

Flat shooter

AR-15 Grip Review

I recently upgraded to this AR-15 grip and the difference was noticeable right away. The ergonomic design gives a more natural wrist angle, which makes longer range sessions much more comfortable and reduces fatigue. The texture strikes a good balance—aggressive enough for a secure hold but not so rough that it becomes uncomfortable without gloves.

Installation was quick and straightforward, fitting perfectly with no wobble or gaps. The grip also offers internal storage, which is a nice bonus for batteries or small tools.

Overall, it’s a solid upgrade over standard factory grips. Comfortable, durable, and functional—definitely worth it if you’re looking to improve control and shooting comfort on your AR platform.
Pros:
  • feel
Cons:
  • None

excellent pistol grip for large hands.

by DickDeadeye, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on February 3, 2026
These are excellent pistol grip for larger hands and fit both AR sized platform. Being left-handed these grips made from an almost Bakelite material are easily carved, something that’ll void the warranty i’m sure, for an ambidextrous safety.
