Most Helpful Positive Review Top Value Weapon Light!
What a great light! Blindingly bright, easy to operate, the push-button switch at rear is in the natural position to activate when your hand is on the grip. Though designed as a on/off switch, with a little manipulation you can work the button to give you a "momentary on" feature. The light's head is very compact, so you don't have the long light tube protruding in front. Did I mention this thing was bright? With other brands selling in the hundreds of dollars for their rail-mounted lights, get this one that combines the vertical grip we all have anyway plus a great, compact light as well...

Well Built Product

by Tito, from OH, United States Written on January 26, 2017
Pros: I bought this flashlight grip at a gun show and I am very pleased with my purchase. I would consider buying this light again if needed. I am pleased that the grip is sturdy and firmly attached to the quadrail of my M & P 15. The light is easy to activate with one thumb. The grip is perfect for my hand. I like the fact that it is made of aluminum and it has a quick release from the quadrail if needed. Looks great on the gun.
Cons: Since the light is not mounted at the end of the barrel of my gun, there is a shadow cast at the top of the light beam. But this is not a big deal, because the light casts a bright focused beam otherwise.

UTG Grip light

by rkr4evr, from CA, United States Written on July 19, 2015
Works as designed and keeps my carbine clean from top-mounts and finger pressure switches. I have it attached to a carbine length Yankee Hill free-float handguard. Easily activated with support hand without changing hand position, simple thumb on/off. I would give it a five if it felt welded to the forearm but there is a slight movement even though it is secure. This was something noticed immediately but soon ignored/forgotten.

Leapers Grip MNT

by Bernard, from CA, United States Written on July 10, 2015
This item exceeded my expectations, quality is first rate brass handle and alloy body installation took 5 minutes including adjustments for quick attachment, downside it could be a little thicker. I will buy another for another rifle.

Thank You Optics Planet

solid grip

Wow, this grip is very solid on the rail, no wiggling. The light has a short battery life but it is blinding. Excellent product. I highly recommend this product if you're looking for a forward grip and you also want a light on your rifle.

Sweet deal!

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on February 6, 2013
Got this for $70 at a gun show in Jan 2013. I got the last one and their display model, but it was in perfect shape and they gave me extra batteries for it. It installed very easily on my .308 Saiga front rail, but took some messing around to get the quick release handle to grip the rail in a solid fashion. It fits comfortably in my hand. Idk what other guys are saying about how the grip is "small," I'm 6'3" and this is great for me. The quick release does its job really well and can be taken off and reinstalled in under 10 seconds (so shooting supported is easy). In the dark, this light is BLINDING, but my laser sight and red dot aren't washed out by it. Perfect. The button placement for operating the light is ideal, as it is the natural position for your thumb to use. I'd easily pay $100 for this thing.
Pros: Bright, oh God it's bright, easy to install, button is ideal
Cons: 2hr battery life isn't exactly ideal.
