Not for high recoil guns.
Originally bought for a .308, I discovered the difference between this and a pod that used the sling mount before any real damage was done.
Even on the mossberg 702 semi-auto .22, it can't hold very still because it cannot clamp tight enough.

great value & features
the trick is to use an allen wrench in the wheel holes that tighten the clamp.You then can get a nice snug no slip fit.

Leapers Bi-pod
Liked the unit, easy to put on and take off. Loosened up after a few shots with .308
The height adjustment does not stay tight after a few shots.

I got this for a Rossi .243 thinking it would have long legs, but it didn't.over all it's a goo product though. Fits rifle perfectly,

Good value for the price
Mounted this on my Savage 64, easy to set up and easy to use, the only drawback is the bolt keeps coming lose after a few hundred rounds, not enough to slide forward, but have to keep an eye out on it, overall a good product!
