I believe this is a very well thought out design and appears to be rugged enough. The finger groves are a good blend for bare hands or light gloves. I appreciate the quick adjust button to fold the handle forward or backward as desired by the user. It also will lock at 45 degrees but not a feature I will use. The spare battery compartment is spot on but the best feature in my opinion is the 2 recesses for pressure switches, one on either side. If you run a separate light and laser it's perfect.
