Purchased this mount to place a AimPoint 9000SC 2 MOA red dot on a new Armlite Eagle AR. Laser scope to set up basic "good to go for paper" at 50 yards sent 3 rounds group was good (not in vice) a few clicks up and left "bingo" right were I wanted to be. Now to test the QD, I removed the scope set a Leupold FireDot-G SPR in its place. Quick "0" the Leu at same distance. Now lets see how repeatable the QD mounts are. Off came the Leupold back on the AimPoint sent a few down range "Amazing" so close Hummmmmmmm swapped back to the Leupold virtually the same as before. Now keep in mind I was not using a vice so any change would have been me. This weekend going to set up solid rig and "0" at 100 yards. My thought here would be: for close range hunting less then 100 (thick and stalking) AimPoint, open areas past 100 swap to the Leupold. One great feature at the Picatinny top rings mounting my Tactacam is a snap. Same set up on the Leupold as well.

I have used different scope mounts over the years and I have to say I like the QD types. This one by Leapers fares pretty well in my opinion. It is solid, does not move/rattle once well adjusted and in my opinion is not heavy as some people have complained, though I have not weighed it. There is one suggestion I have for the manufacturers of this mount and that is to install some kind of stop on the locking levers that would prevent them from being accidentally open when hooking on something. Burris PEPR has those stops but that item is 3 times more expensive. Leapers tries to reduce the risk of accidentally open them by making the levers a little longer and having them face each other and that's OK but it's not perfect.

I mounted a scope on the rings attached to my sig 716. I shot it in, took the mount off and put it back on and it held zero!

This is a very solid mount at an extremely reasonable price. I did not experience the problems the other negative reviewers had. I used this to mount a large Leapers scope to a .22 tactical rifle. I was able to easily mount a red dot sight to the pic rail sections on the top. Everything sits solid as a rock. My only negative is that for me to be confident in the quick release cams, I tighten the adjustment screws to the point that it makes it difficult to unlock the cams by hand.
Pros: Low relative cost, Very solid attachment, additional pic rail segments on top of mount
Cons: Slightly heavy

Purchased to match inexpensive 4x scope for 10/22. It took awhile to mount the scope due to 8 fairly long screws. When trying to mount to their Weaver/Picatinny base, the front lever locked down nicely, with no adjustment. The rear lever would not press down to secure to the base. There is an adjustment screw inside, but it would not adjust the tension on the rear lever, at all. Additionally, I really liked the short rails on top of the rings, where I wanted to mount a small laser I own, but those top rails were shorter than the short turret on my scope, so there was no clearance for my laser. Mounting anything else up there would have not provided clearance for scope adjustments. Lastly, the rings were just a tad too close to the center of my scope. I think I would prefer individual QR rings, WITH topside rails and quick releases. Product returned to OP, who are great about accepting.
Pros: Material quality
Cons: Design and function
