The good thing about these rail covers is that it comes in a 7 pack, which is enough for 7 sided keymod handguards. The length of each panel covers 5 keymod slots which is enough to wrap your hand around. The not so good is the difficulty of installing these rail covers.

I used these covers to add a foregrip on a BCM handguard. Since I primarily shoot using the bipod, I was just interested in adding a good grip area. These pads work well. They install very easily using a dead blow hammer to "tap" the cover into place and then "tap" the circle into the key mod slot to lock it in. I have read other reviews that stated that these are hard to install, but done correctly, it took less than 5 minutes to put on all seven covers. Nice texture and look great!
Pros:
- easy installation
- look and feel great

I couldn't 'press down and slide in' as the instructions stated.
Ended up using a small soft face deadblow hammer.
Out of 7 sticks included I broke 4 in the same spot right at the indented circle.
Don't see another viable way to install, instructions don't suggest better other than be nonchalantly superhuman.
Made in China btw.
Texture is aggressive, feels good enough when mounted and should help with heat... would spend more for a rifle I like next time.

Rail covers have a pretty tight fit. I had to use the plastic end of a small hammer to tap the covers into position on initial installation. Removal is pretty much the same process in reverse. Just be careful not to accidentally use the metal end of the hammer or you damage the finish on your gun.

I had some difficulties getting the rails to slide into place and snap in and had to use a hammer to achieve this. Otherwise they look and feel great. The texture will definitely help keep my support hand on the gun and I have yet to shoot, but I don’t think I’ll have an issue with my barrel/rail heating up.

I like these stiffer plastic rail covers better than rubber ones I have tried because they snap in more uniformly and don't pop out easily. They work well to add some grip, or the create a buffer between your hand and a section of handguard that gets hot...
Pros:
- good value
- easy installation
- effective design

The panel covers are very difficult to install, but they should not move around once they get in. They're very hard plastic, but the pattern gives it a very good grip. I added all 7 panels to my rail and it helped beef it up a little bit. it's a little bit more comfortable in my hand now. I would recommend these rail covers

They snapped right in and have a good solid feel to them no wiggle. The texture is a very positive grip. Works good wet or dry with or without gloves. Another plus to installing aside from grip is a protective benefit. Especially if you are running Cerakote or other finishes, this will help keep you from marring up the hand guard. Worth it get a set
