I could buy Wilson , JP , etc but this product is better . I owned 9 different grips over the years . Use to think they didn't matter , this one does. You can control the whole rifle with one hand. Wet or dry , hot or cold works . The other grips are just sticks .

Super comfortable grip

by Crob, from MA, United States Written on December 4, 2020
Very comfortable grip. The storage door is a little lose but otherwise you can’t really ask for a better grip at such a low price. I’m planning to replace the grip on my other rifle with another one of these grips.

AR15 Pistol Grip

by jim, from WI, United States Written on July 29, 2020
The grip is nice for the price. We swhall see how it holds up, but it seems really solid.
Some sort of polymer that has the feel of rubber, but seems like it's good quality.I wouldn't say that it is as nice as the Magpul accessories, but pretty close. The shipping was delayed quite a bit, but understandible during our national crisis, and everyone buying everything firearms that they can. God bless America and be prepared.

Good quality for the price

by FFEJ, Verified Owner from AR, United States Written on April 10, 2020
This is a great grip at a low price. Feels very sturdy.
I recently purchased this for an Aero Precision M5 lower. I did have to do some trimming to make it match the lower, however I new that ahead of time and once that was done it fits perfect to the lower. The areas that were trimmed are hidden also, so it looks great. Really smooth feel were it matches the lower with no issues with the selector. I have large hands and this grip feels Way better than a stock grip! Good job UTG!
Pros:
  • Great feel, very sturdy
Cons:
  • Might have to secure the door at the bottom over time
Best Used for:
  • AR15/AR10 Pistol Grip

Love the feel but don't buy if you have a Ambi-Safety.

by Andrew, Verified Owner from GA, United States Written on October 16, 2019
Best ergo grip for the money. It feels outstanding and improves my feel with a larger hand. The first two builds I tried to use it with did not work. The grip is wider than the lower and doesn't allow the Safety to rotate from safe to fire. I would say this grip hugs the lower and has a bulkier sold feel, My Magpul grips align with the lower and allow a seamless transition from grip to lower. I still give it 4 stars, if it fit my builds with Ambi Safeties I would replace my Magpul furniture with this.
Pros:
  • Solid Ergonomics
  • Feel and quality
Cons:
  • Alignment
  • Ambidextrous side too long
Best Used for:
  • Rock Island VR80

Ar15 Postol Grip "Sniper"

by AR you plinking, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on February 6, 2019
Grip has a good feel in the hand. On my anderson lower it did not fit quite as perfectly as I would have hoped for, left a little gap below the buffer extension area. Does not come with a grip screw, which maybe i should have known but i did not expect as it was for a new build and I did not have a extra screw. Trip to home depot solved that problem. Screw is 1" long x 1/4" x 28 thread pitch, I bought the hex version of this screw was 22cents. Also, has a shallow spring hole for safety spring and detent which caused the safety to be a little stiff. Overall i do like the grip, ergonomically it fits great in my hand, may not be the same for everyone. But, for the price its definitely worth it!
Pros:
  • Ergonomical hand fit, great material.
Cons:
  • No grip screw, did not match up perfect woth anderson lower, creates stiff safety selector
Best Used for:
  • Ar15, 556/223

Nice grips

by John, from FL, United States Written on January 27, 2019
I was looking for a more vertical ergonomic type grip for my RPR 6.5cm. I found this one to be a good choice. It feels and looks good. Drawbacks are it's not OD green. But the fde is nice. Also there is some space at the top between it and the rifle but it is fully connected and secure. Soft rubbery feel not hard. I liked it better than the ergo grip I also got.
Pros:
  • Met my needs
Cons:
  • None

Ease of install

by Envision, from CA, United States Written on March 24, 2018
This grip is the second one I have purchased, first was black, this one rde for a new build. The color matches the arrow precision lower nicely. The grip itself is very contoured and fits the hand nicely. Easy to install, lines yp nicely. I will state I'd state if you are using amedextrous safety you will need to carve out the right side a tad. Dremmel tool does a fine job. I would purchase again.
Pros:
  • Grip contour
Cons:
  • Right side safety mod

Fire one Tactical owner. And gunsmith

by Larry, from UT, United States Written on July 11, 2017
This grip works well for single safeties does not work well with Emma dextrous safeties it catches on the right hand side safety you have to try to cut away the top of the handguard on the right hand side to get the safety to work properly it is nice for big hands also if you have a specialized stock it is hard to work with.
Pros:
  • Positives with big hands positives with big hands and single safeties.
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Not good with specialized stocks and Emma dextrous safeties.
