Let's gravity help prevent rotation. Assuming no accessories attached to your 3 or 9, causing mis-balancing, scope to bore stays well in line. Swivels can be tensioned, legs extended, legs can be detached from mount. Weight of total bipod assembly may deter some if trekking longer distances unless detached from mount and stored in another carrier.
