Seems like a good mounting system. It is very strong as it is bolted to barrel nut and indexed to upper. It is very slim as it is very close to low pro gas block...but does fit with enough clearance. Time will tell how warm it gets on the hands. My only gripe is OP uses FedEx. It went through two post offices and took 16 days to deliver. FedEx has very poor service in this area.
