Just Installed
Just installed. you MUST have low profile gas block, vice block and barrel nut wrench(4 ur existing barrel nut) to begin. Getting my rifle tore down was the only challenge. once B nut off it was simple;thread on new barrel nut, slide in retaining ring, install new gas block and tube and the hand guard slides right over. Alignment for retaining screws was simple... the retaining ring spins inside the barrel nut and is easy to align, the hand guard "self aligns" because of tabs that go around your upper. put in screws to secure and your done! Awesome product!

NOT 9" ITS 9.25"
How have people not notice this discrepancy, Im building a pcc and my overall legth is 9" when i went to test fit it was slightly longer

I love these UTG Pro Free Float Handguards!
They are super good looking very light and very very very slim in the hand. The only negative with the product itself is you have to purchase proprietary picatinny rail sections if you want to add anything to it. It wasn't much of a negative because you have to buy M-lok or other types of rail anyway. I have the 13-in version on my 16-in upper and I purchased this 9-inch for my 10.5 but unfortunately due to a mistake at the factory, there was no Hardware in the Box. It's not Opticsplanet's fault and never happened before so I will be purchasing another when back in stock.

excellent quality
Super easy to install. Excellent quality, super sturdy. My only complaint is that it states it measures at 9 inches and its closer to 9 1/4 inches. Not a deal breaker but would have been nice to know. Other than that great peoduct. I like the pic rails are included and they screw directly to the handguard instead of using the Mlok portion.

Perfect handguard
It's a great handguard and the price is amazing. The slim designed tubular profile for positive handling is perfect for my large hands or my wifes smaller hands. It's super lightweight is a huge bonus.

Slim and light. Only draw back is you limited on rail space due to you having to use the extra rails that come with it. Regular mlock will not work

Good value!
These handguards are a good value. For my purpose they are much better than larger diameter handguards. I own several in different lengths. The gas tube installs over the barrel nut rather than through it. This makes installation easy. The unique barrel nut with inside sleeve makes installation indexing easy.
