Nice replacement for standard M 16 handguard. Looks great on ar 15. I did need to do a bit of adjusting/gunsmithing to get it to fit the ruger ar556 though (under the front sight at the QD sling mount opening). The handguard was a bit too narrow there or the ruger ar 556 was too fat. So not quite 'drop-in' but once adjusted and installed fully looks great and feels very solid.
