Yes. It does get loose because the tensioner is set wrong. BUT!! There is an easy fix and when done it is an excellent bipod. doesnt lock down
The 360 swivel doesnt lock down, when its locked down and left alone, the rifle will fall over. There is a video talking about tension screws for this problem, but this one is a different model and doesnt have tension screws, this one may be a fake.

Great Bipod
I give this a 4+ out of 5 stars for overall quality. The only thing that I could mention is that at the maximum extention (only) there is a little wobble, but that is common for many Bipods, and it is forgivable when considering the quality and robustness of the entire rest of the Bipod. You get to set the perfect ammount of resistance for Panning with a reliable lever, simple as. UTG does it again. (I'm also a fan of their UTG Pro Handguard for .308)

Good, not great.
The quality of materials is good and feels very strong. Probably will last a long time. The lock up is tight but not perfect, you can expect some movement on the turret even if you push the lever to the maximum. It gets the job done though, if most of your shots are going to be within a couple hundred yards and you're not looking for precise 1" groups, this should work. Better than no bipod for sure.

Good bipods
They are very good shooting bipods for the price. I'm impressed with the build quality. The bipods can be easily adjusted to accommodate terrain irregularities with a single click. They can be folded to the other side for quick deployment. The feet provide reliable surface grip and prevent slipping unless the surface is exceptionally smooth. Initially, there were some challenges in designing the hinge, but it eventually worked flawlessly.

Cheap build but $80
Definitely feels solid and kind of heavy for it being not being spring loaded. Where my issue is with these bipods is the fact that I had them for about a month before they wouldn’t lock in place anymore. The only way to tighten up that problem is to use a 1mm Allen key and it’s in there so tight the screw just strips immediately, and I even heated it up a little bit in case there was some thread locker. Sure they have a lifetime warranty but getting it fixed or replaced isn’t going to completely prevent this from happening. If it doesn’t get loose in a month, give it time. I’d recommend Caldwell bipods, price is very similar to these, or if you’re wanting to go even further get Harris.

Solid and worth it
Purchased this to replace the eBay special I found for much cheaper. Wish I would have gotten this before. This is solid base and the little movement makes a difference but still gives a solid base to shoot from. Will be purchasing another one for a different gun.

Out of all of the bipod’s, I’ve used, I would rate this one as the best bang for your buck. There are definitely better ones out there but you’re going to pay a heftier price for them. It’s lightweight pretty streamline and looks pretty awesome on my rifle.

Leapers UTG Recon 360 TL Bipod
It mounted up just great on my 308 mossberg bolt action rifle. no problems at all. it works great. you can put the legs either facing forward or towards yourself. light and tuff. all action points work really well. no slipping action either.

Well I haven’t even shot with this yet only tested on my kitchen table but the leg mount has already come loose so now I need to take it apart and fix it right. I guess if you enjoy working on brand new stuff then this will be a great purchase for you because it is inevitable that it will come loose

leaper UTG recon 360 TL Bipod(M-Lok)
Pretty good first impression. Had good solid construction, and good solid stiff locking extension buttons and solid tilt/ rotation lever that won’t accidentally loosen up. The M-Lok nuts and base Are pretty sturdy as well. Definitely worth the price you pay, and shipping was faster than expected.
