Yes. It does get loose because the tensioner is set wrong. BUT!! There is an easy fix and when done it is an excellent bipod. On the top of the tensioner switch there is a flat cap, get some pliers and carefully unscrew it. You’ll notice there is a set screw that holds on the tensioner. Go ahead and drill it out because it you’ll never get it with an allen key. Slip off the tensioner, it sits around a nut. Move it back one position and screw the top back on. You’re done. Ya it sucks it even has to be done, but it takes 3 minutes and you end up with a good product. Good luck.
