Most Helpful Positive Review Incredible value for a bipod
I have had this bipod for a couple of months now and I can give a full and honest review. This bipod is great for bench and prone shooting and holds up to recoil without a problem. I currently have this installed on an SR25/LR-308 platform, so im hitting it with diminished 308 recoil. The M-LOK unit...

Most Helpful Negative Review Strippe bolt - weak bolts
Installed the bipod but then decided to change positions. When taking it off one of the bolt stripped and couldn’t get it off. I had to hammer it off and my rail got damaged. Also, make sure you look closely at the angles on your rail. If the keymod holes are angled upwards, the bipod will not work ...

Oops! I did it again.

by walter3ca, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on July 28, 2024
I originally bought a similiar looking bipod on Temu just for kicks ansd giggles. What Temu didn't state was that it must be for an Airsoft rifle. But I liked the look and function, so I decided to buy a real one at Optics Planet. I guess that I did not read the description very carefully because when it came, it came with Key Mod instead of M-Loc. I hate Key Mod and I cannot use it. So I swapped the connectors between Temu and OP and everything was fine. This bipod is built like a tank. It is a bit heavy, but heavy means sturdy, and that it is. Maybe Key Mod was the reason that the bipod was so cheap.

Thanks for the build finish!

by bearscorner85, Verified Owner from IN, United States Written on April 10, 2023
Displays my JRCAR45 at the ready; perfect height to fit the 26RD Mag. It is very sturdy and the adjustments are quickly done. Gives it the ability to do steadied shots in any terrain around the knobs here. So glad to have this 1st time MLock Side Pods. Leaves room under the front for the WL/LAZ and is so lightweight and strong. Folds back to fit in the scabbard and forward also to give my weapon a great bayonet punch.
Pros:
  • Price, Height, Stability, Weight & Formidability
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Steady aim, Display readiness & Breach-Punch

I was looking for a pair of bipods to stay on a firearm. Once I found these I had to try them! For the price I wasn’t sure how good the quality would be, but wow I was amazed. The price and the quality both were great and these bipods are solid! They have held up well overtime and are well worth the money! They adjust so easily and have so many positions that work in any situation! Optics planet always has the best price and deals on any gear I need! I would definitely buy these again!

  • rugged
  • reliability
  • Adjustability
  • shipping
  • key mod design
  • Sturdy Mounting
Cons:
  • None

My first bipod

by BADDAWG, from CA, United States Written on January 3, 2021
I have been shooting for 40 years so it's hard to believe this is my first bipod. I had to remove my front end to get this on but once on it's very steady and looks great on the rifle. I am still saving for a nice scope but using open sites that I haven't even tried to sight in I was grouping pretty good at 100 yards. Looks good feels sturdy worked well. We'll so how long it lasts but I really like it so far
Pros:
  • sturdy - looks great
Cons:
  • none so far
Best Used for:
  • hopefully long range elk and targets

Easy and sturdy

by Michael, from FL, United States Written on August 25, 2020
Easy to install and sturdy. Only drawback would be legs are not spring loaded and take a little more time to adjust than a product like the Harris ultra lite. Also due to mounting position they are wide when stowed and may create an issue with some narrow gun cases.
Pros:
  • Easy to install, sturdy, look good
Cons:
  • Wide mounting profile

Pros:
  • Easily installed, fit well, easy to adjust and performs it's function as expected.
Cons:
  • None observed
Best Used for:
  • AR-10 OR AR-15 builds

Great bipod

by P-nut, from DE, United States Written on August 24, 2018
This bi-pod is dry well crafted. The twist locks to stop accidental extetention or retraction are easy to use and labled which way locks them I use these on my 450 bushmaster. Recoil has destroyed various others. It has been reliable and fold 5 different ways to stay out of your hand space when firing from a standing position.

Great googly moogly this is nice

by Scout, from TX, United States Written on July 21, 2018
I do a lot of bench shooting and hunting so I’ve always wanted a well made, sturdy and out of the way bipod that I could leave in place on my rifle all the time rather than putting it on to shoot from a bench then removing it to spot and stalk or hunt from my blind. This bipod fit the bill exactly it’s out of the way for hunting and there when I need it for bench. Easy to install and great looking too.
Pros:
  • Easy install, looks great, leaves room for a proper forehand grip, light weight, out of the way for adding lights or lasers to forestock, fully adjustable, easy to load the bipod for stable platform
Cons:
  • Friction tightening on the legs may loosen from recoil
Best Used for:
  • All applications
