this is a great pruduct but i rated overall a 2 star because it was made for .22/air rifle rail adaptor but it doesnt come with a rounded bottom like most .22 and air rifles do, so i have to go buy a 3/8 rounded bottom and flat top rail to put onto my .22 rifle so i can mount this adaptor onto the f...

Great BUT not for Magnum air gun
I purchased this to use on my new Browning 800 Express .22 magnum air pistol. I will say this was the 2nd attempt to find a product that would hold a UTG 1X30 Tactical Dot Sight. Unfortunately with the same results as the first. After sighting in the scope and firing about 50 rounds and keeping the mount tight, it just could not take the recoil and sheered off at the dovetail. There was no damage to the gun nor the sight all good but the aluminum on the mount was just not strong enough where the two connect.
Air gun Reporter warned of this of course I saw it after loosing the mount, so I will change the whole setup t a regular pistol scope with double screw double rings as they suggest.
Otherwise I think this would be a great tool for any other gun with little double recoil.

Quality rail adaptor for a great price.
I mounted this on a mossberg 22 rifle to fit a red dot site with Trinity force scope rings. This rail adaptor fit perfect and has great workmanship for such a great price. Quality product. I plan on using this product again on future air rifle builds.

Good Base for Dovetail;
I now have this on my 22LR - "LTR" (Liberty Training Rifle) and just put it on my nephew's.
Dovetails seem to be very unreliable had holding and securing the scope.
Also they limit how far forward you can put the scope to get a good position for shooting.
The longer surface areas and extra screw to secure seem to hold this base and the scope well.
It does raise the scope up a bit higher; but it works well.

just tried it on different rifle, work perfectly on the baikal single shot rifle, on the stoeger airgun and on the CZ 22 lr as well

Great Mount
Easy to install and well made. Price can't be beat. It holds my picatinny scope mounts solidly.
I have this one on my spring piston air gun. It holds the scope with no issue even with the rough recoil.

Very happy with this mount. I am using it on a gamo air rifle. I don't think you can find a a better mount at this price. Shipping was fast from Optics Planet. What more can I say. If you are looking for a good low cost mount you should get this one.

Outstanding Product
Used the adapter to mount a red dot sight to a Chiappa Badger .22mag over .410 combo. The adapter is easy to mount, very sturdy and worth the investment. The adapter fit the rimfire groove perfect and the mounting screws tightened to a secure fit. The length of the rail allowed for a more adjustable fit for the red dot scope that I installed.

Great product
I bought 2 of these, 1 to mount a bipod and 1 for a laser on the front underside of my Condor. Not long enough for both but that's fine as they are inexpensive. Works great in every regard. Solid mounting and sturdy.
