my barrel sticks out the bottom of the holster half inch..govt.model 1911.the gun sits too far down in holster,dosent feel right at all..

Excellent quality, leather, stitching, and metallic clip are premium grade. This is a very confortable IWB holster, that fits my SIG-P226 perfectly. I hope to buy anouther one real soon for a Ruger SP101. These are great holsters, and you cannot beat the feel of real leather.

Excellent Holster
I have tried a lot of holsters as most of you have. My search is finally over. I now have 3 of these well made items. It is stamped made in Italy with a size and what type gun it fits. The leather is molded to the correct gun. I prefer a leather belt strap instead of the metal clip that's usually on an IWB holster. The 1st thing I do is put the end of the belt loop that bends in cold water for a few minutes. Take it and put the gun in and put it under the mattress overnight. This will flatten the loop for better concealment. The gun fits snug for awhile but it will loosen up over time. Very pleased with the prompt delivery. Thank you Optics Planet.

Excellent fit and comfort.
I've been carrying a Glock 17 in this holster for over 1,000 days now (more than 3 years). The single loop allows the holster to move with you when you sit or bend, but still keeps the gun right where it needs to be. I've drawn from this holster almost 20,000 times in practice/training and see almost no structural wear in the material or construction. The seams are still in place and unfrayed, the leather has some obvious wear but no shredding or scuffs just some mild discoloration from years of sweat and abuse, and it's still in that perfect medium between stiffness and form fitting.
I only wish this model had a cousin with room for a light, I would have a few more.

Great quality and fit
The quality of the Black hawk leather is top notch and he fit is superb. My gun fits perfectly and weari g the holster inside the waistband is very comfortable. Belt loop keeps gun in place and I really like the adjustable angle. This really makes the difference as to how the gun fits the wearers personal preference.

Fantastic conceal carry holster
Great holster for conceal carry. Hides your firearm well by placing your firearm closer to your body rather than sticking out from the outside of your belt. And still comfortable.

Good Holster
I really like this holster. It's inside-the-pant style makes it much easier to conceal a hand gun than a holster worn outside the pants. It is good quality leather and wears well. My only real gripe is that it does not have a thumb latch to secure it.

Blackhawk CQC - Glock 27
The Blackhawk CQC is a great holster. It is comfortable to wear all day. It holds the weapon securely. The sweat shield protects not only the gun but my skin. The black dye does NOT stain my clothing nor me. My only complaint was the 1-3/4" belt loop. I fixed that using two chicage screws. I really like the holster!
