great use for trauma rn
Item is used daily inside a busy emergency room by a registered nurse. Have been using this for over 2 months and no complaints yet. Would definitely recommend this item to any medical professionals.

Exactly what I've wanted!
I've been debating making this purchase for a long time. F in ally pulled the trigger and am so glad I did. These shears are not too heavy but not too flimsy either. They strike a nice balance, have a couple of extra wiz bang tools attached and don't take up a lot of room. Eliminated my strap cutter, glass breaker tool and O2 wrench on my keychain. Easy to draw from the holster (have no idea what the YouTube folks were saying) and can mount on my blow-out kit MOLLE webbing if I need to conserve belt space.

These sheers are excellent. High quality build, precision cutting, and a variety of handy tools in a flexible compact package make it a winner. Even the case design is impressive allowing storage when both deployed or folded.

Leatherman Raptor
This is one of the best tools to have by your side. We got this as a gift for a friend whom graduated from medic school. Probably be buying one for me and my wife as well. I like the fact it comes with a holster as well.

Leatherman Raptor Shear Tool
I got 1 of these for Christmas and could not find any of these off the shelf months after the holiday. The wait was fine but it is a must have tool for those that especially work in the LE field or Medical. It is worth the money and it prevents you from having to carry the other individually. If you can get 1 one, get it, you will not regret it. I got a Police Officer friend 1 and she was impressed by it.

Great product! High quality!
This is a super heavy duty set of shears. Lots of great functionality to it. I'm an ER nurse so I need something that cuts very well for removing jeans, belts, etc. on trauma patients, not to mention the occasional dressing or split material that needs trimming. They cut everything very easily and with minimal effort. The other features like the glad breaker, seat belt cutter, and O2 wrench aren't really needed in the ER but are not really in the way either, just a neat feature that's more of a novelty unless you're out on an ambulance. For general everyday use they are great and are holding up nicely so far. A bit heavy, but that's to be expected with a quality piece of steel. I highly recommend these to anyone wanting to get away from buying "disposable" trauma shears.

Ehhhh Disappointed
I was expecting much better quality from Leatherman when I ordered. The belt clip came unscrewed and fell, luckily I heard the case and tool hit the ground or it would have been lost. Secondly there were knicks all over it, the package showed no signs of being opened so I suspect it came from the factory like this.
