sturdy leatherman
I gave this five stars because the quality of this leatherman is really good in my opinion. The blades are super sharp and I like the idea of being able to switch different screw driver bits with the optional bit kit and replaceable wire cutter blades. Also The sheath is a heavy nylon that snaps tight.
durable and compact
Blades come very sharp, wire cutters are very strong and durable will cut hardened fence wire and more. The bit driver is better designed than my Leatherman mut. Will definitely buy more as gifts. I have always loved Leatherman and they always seem to improve their tools and come out with more great new tools.

Doesn't work as it should
I purchased this Leatherman and have been using it for a week now thinking it just needed some break in time to loosen up but apparently it's just always been broken. Very difficult to get the tools out of the handles and forget about getting the pliers to open without something to pry them open. I have cleaned them, used gun oil and worked on them for a week thinking maybe the joints will loosen after some use. When that didn't happen, I started searching online and found this is a common problem. I figure well I can return them to OP and try my luck with another, get a refund, or contact Leatherman since it has a 25 year warranty and hasn't even been 30 days. OP offers free returns, Leatherman wants me to pay for shipping both ways and I'm just overall highly disappointed considering the price point and Brand. I'll update my review once its finalized.

Good For EDC, Better Options For Work Use
This is a great tool for normal use, but there are bigger, stronger Leatherman options for work use. All the tools are solid and well made (USA!), except the scissors. The sissors were disappointing; the rivet was too loose and the metal was thin.
I bought this for work, so I'm returning it for a Leatherman Surge or Super Tool 300, which are larger and heavier with stronger pliers. Also, the Surge has much heavier scissors.

one of the best "survival tool" you can have
this small Leatherman Wave is one of the most useful devices I have. There are only three things now that I have to have on me when I go anywhere, my EDC pistol, this Wave tool and a pocket first aid kit. A bottle opener may not be necessary, but pliers and screw drivers are. Good product and well worth the money

handy dandy tool
I would have given my leatherman 5 stars if not for the fact it broke. The pliers portion snapped a leg off as I was trying to loosen a bolt on a shackle. I was a little disappointed but thier 25 year warranty is hassle free so I sent it out. Right before Christmas so hope to have it back in a few weeks. They should use a better forging for the pliers portion or make it a little thicker. I like it's compactness and the interchangeable bit extension.
