Great optic - Hi-Lux Optics CMR Series 1-4x24 Rifle Scope

I have used and owned many scopes over the past 30 years. This is my second CMR. The first (Red)I purchased used and abused as a curiosity. Over the past two years, that CMR has never let me down. I recently decided to buy another, only this time a new one with Green illumination. You know opinions, reviews etc. tend to be subjective. Everybody has an opinion. You know some are simply silly. Others make no sense at all. I have been a LEO for the past 28 years with all sorts of training. Also prior military. For what it's worth here's my two cents: One would be hard pressed to find a better 1-4 optic of this type at any price. What we have here is a rugged, clear, and easy to use scope. It' as good as any brand at any price. I have no problem utilizing this scope on a weapon to which I would be putting my life on the line!!! Things like: "It doesn't have enough light in daytime." or It's made in China" are a little silly in todays world. I think that if China can put a satellite into space, build a modern jet fighter, construct your I-Phone, TV etc. etc. They can certainly build a simple rifle scope. The only question is what is one willing to pay? There are already plenty of $1000.00 scopes on the market. If one like paying that sort of money for a scope; well it's your money. As for me I still like my reliable Toyota over the Mercedes and BMW. Don't be fooled into thinking your getting something magical just because you paid crazy money for it. Need a 1-4 type scope? Take a serious look at this one. You'll thank me. Be safe!
