This scope is perfect for the AK. If you want to run it as low as possible to the receiver I recommend MI 30mm side scope mount. The clarity of the glass is on par with anything you would expect to pay $700 to $1500 for. The etched, mil-dot, illuminated reticle well, WOW. This reticle, with its quick ranging system, has"battle ready" written all over it. For any AK nut this is a very capable scope.
Pros: too many to list
Cons: wish it had a bit more magnification, say 1x-5x
