Ive had it close to a year.

Decent eye relief.

Great glass, but:

1) not "daylight bright". The illumination is worthless during the day.

2) the markings are SUPER tiny...so small, that the AK upside down "V" is just a dot. I wear reading glasses and am 50, so my eyes are not perfect, but its still super small.

I dont think its worth it. The scope is heavy and if you want that "red dot" ability, there are much better options out there, in my opinion. I cant recommend it ultimately.

Cool reticle that eventually develops distracting specks.

Since my purchase, this scope has been to the range twice. Pulled it out recently, and there are black specks all over the field of view. I cleaned the lenses, but it looks like the flecks are at the level of the reticle (as they catch the red illumination when it's on). There are about 10 specks and it's a bit distracting. If you buy this, know that the etched reticle will seemingly disintegrate over time.

Based on the warranty, this is not a covered issue, so buyer beware.

nice optic!

Clear glass with a fantastic reticle. Sighted in at 200 yds and was hitting steel all the way out to 600 yds, very impressed! Seems very robust and should hold for the long run. Hold over was easy to see and brightness of the reticle good. Control of the magnification was easy to change. All around a very nice AK optic.

Reticle brightness
reticle illumination needs to be brighter for sunny days

Ak47 scope

The scope seems to be a quality item. It looks great on my ak47. The reticle is a little small, I have a hard time seeing the dot against the red bullseye on my targets. I sighted the scope in and I am good to go!

Leatherwood CMR-AK762... Meh...

Well built, feels solid. Love the BDC and range finding features. Mine came with the wrong battery cover- literally falls out. Apparently there's two different size caps. Contacted leatherwood, they are supposed to be sending me a replacement. That was 2 weeks ago. Still waiting, starting to get further annoyed.

Eye relief is 3". I've noticed that you must be exactly straight on the scope. Any minor deviation up or down from dead center and you fall out of focus.

That said from a bench rest, I was pulling 1.5" groups at 100 yards with Wolf WPA 7.62x39 on a CMMG MK47, and was ringing a 10" gong at 300 yards with no problem every pull.

I would have given it 4 stars if Leatherwood quality control or customer support was a bit better. Overall happy with it. I'll be returning it this week if I don't hear anything from them.

Great Scope

It work well, feels sturdy and well built. Put up with 500 rounds of 7.62 with no issues. Brightness settings are good, the reticle is etched in so if battery goes out you don't have a useless sight. Would recommend to any of my shooting buddies and family.

Hi-Lux 1-4x24mm CMR-AK762

This is the best scope I could have chosen both for ballistic and performance wise for the money. I could not be happier.
The range finding capability through the lens is awesome. The quality of of craftsmanship matches that of scopes for much more money. Personally I purchased this because I have AR15 that is chambered in 300 Blackout. Balistically this scope will match for drop and range.

This item was delivered well protected in its package. The reticle (green) is easily seen during brighter times during the day. Both lenses very clear, easy to install and use. Very nice scope, especially for the price!
