The Machinist's Review of Hi-Lux Optics CMR4 1-4x24mm Rifle Scope w/ Illuminated CMR4 Ranging Reticle

I've had my CMR for about a year and have enjoyed shooting it. During my last trip to the range some particles came off the scope tube and got stuck in the reticle. Hi-Lux doesn't cover this repair in their warranty. :( Overall it's a good deal for a scope but I'm not happy about having free floating debris in the reticle image.
Pros:
  • Good reticle, very accurate.
Cons:
  • Particulate in scope reticle.
Best Used for:
  • Plinking.
