Tac dot - Hi-Lux Optics Tac-Dot 21x16mm Tactical 4MOA Dot Red Dot Sights w/Integral Mount

This is my 2nd optic from Leatherwood, I've also purchased the Leatherwood Camputer ART Scope M-1000 2.5-10x44 Auto Ranging Trajectory Riflescope ART2510X44 for my AR .223. I bought the Tac Dot for my VEPR 12 guage shotgun. It was extremely easy to zero in with the provided screwdriver. I wouldn't be concerned about not having the positive clicks on the adjustments. I actually bored sighted the red dot with a bore sighter at home prior to arriving at the range. I had it dead on in 5 rounds. ( If you have a laser bore sight do this prior as it will save you time and ammo!) The Tac Dot is great as it really helps you acquire your target fast. I shot a couple of boxes of rifled slugs 1600 fsp and some 00 buck to see how the Tac Dot held up. So far it has not been affected by the heavy recoil of my shotgun. The low profile fits great on the top picatinny rail. Remove the cover and it turns on automatically and the brightness of the dot is self adjusting to the existing light. If it is like the other HI Lux products by Leatherwood you are purchasing quality at much lower prices than some other brands out there and it comes with a lifetime warranty.
