Solid mount - Hi-Lux Optics M14/M1A Steel Mounts w/ Windage Adjustment

You’ll have to be patient when putting this mount on your M14/M1A but it’s worth the effort. Probably not easy for first time scope mounters. Made of solid steel, its parts allow small tweaks with set screws to overcome imperfections in the receiver. I also like the slimmer side profile unlike the big knobs of the SA mount (which I also own). Decent instructions. Make sure you have blue loctite handy when securing the pic rail to the mount. I only gave it 4 stars because it was missing the shims that were supposed to be included. I wound up making my own…used it on the front to make pic rail parallel to barrel (only needed 1mm when using the enclosed shell deflector). The scope and mount has thus far held up to the initial 50 plus rounds.
